Responsibilities

The Senior Premium Auditor conducts audits of policyholders' accounting records to determine actual exposure and final premium in accordance with the terms detailed in policyholder contracts. The person in this position performs both on-site and remote audits on larger and more complex accounts and ensures compliance with the WCIRB's premium audit accuracy program. The Senior Premium Auditor prepares detailed audit reports and effectively communicates audit findings including changes in payroll, premium, and classification codes. The person in this position utilizes software applications and manages workflow to ensure that production, quality, and timeliness standards are met. The Senior Premium Auditor works closely with underwriting and marketing team members through all phases of the policy life cycle.​

Field Representative
Workers' Compensation Insurance Rating Bureau of California (WCIRB)
The Field Representative uses significant independent judgment in applying knowledge of the workers’ compensation insurance standard classification system and of WCIRB procedures to analyze information collected and to determine the standard classifications that apply to a policyholder’s operations. Working independently, the Field Representative is responsible for completing a targeted volume of work, including: (1) classification inspection reports, (2) test audits of payroll and claims, and (3) general correspondence.
